El Portalet opened in 1984. It is located on Garona’s river bank in Bossost, in the heart of the Aran Valley, surrounded by amazing natural landscapes. The region is also famous for being a rich combination of history, art and culture.
This family business has been transferred from parents to children, and so has their passion for gastronomy.
Our team welcomes you and wants to wish you a very enjoyable meal.

The cuisine of the Portalet has evolved, over the years, into a contemporary and astonishing author cuisine elaborated by the chef Josep Gregorio. The restaurant offers a cuisine based on fresh and high-quality products. A reinvention takes place every season, every detail is carefully taken care of during the elaboration of the dishes, using both the traditional and the most innovative techniques.
